This weekend at the Victoria Highland Games! Any predictions? I think Spencer was the presumptive favorite, now that he's out who's going to take it home? Vlad Tulacek surprised a lot of people last year, but I think Lorne Colthart is the real dark horse.

Athlete list right now:
1. Robert Young (CAN)
2. Sinclair Patience (Scotland)
3. Matthew Doherty (CAN)
4. Damien Fisher (USA)
5. Dan Tennison (USA)
6. Josh Goldthorp (CAN)
7. Lorne Colthart (Scotland)
8. Chuck Kasson (USA)
9. Tuláček Vladislav (Czech)
10. Lukasz Wenta (Poland)
11. Scott Rider (England)

I'm sure I miss a lot by not being on social media, but why is Spencer out?

Thanks Ray - you've done a bang-up job promoting the games, I'm sure it'll be a heck of a competition!

Being so early in the season it's hard to know how everyone's throwing. I'm pretty sure that Vlad, Lorne and Doherty will all be fighting for the podium; but at the end of the day I'm betting my old pal Rider will take the title home again.

Can I call 'em or what? Congrats to Chuck! I think he won only the 28#, but he was consistent enough in everything else to bring home the gold.
