I was just curious.. Looking at the women's rankings... Are our points based on our best marks as compared to the Men's Pro Records?.. I was trying to figure out the math.. and it looks like they are.. I'll be honest.. I don't know what most of the women's records are.. (Only that shannen has alot of them.).. And I know it technically shouldn't matter which standards we are being compared with.. as long as the same ratio applies to each competitor. But I just thought it was strange to see. (Just my 2 cents).. -Kate |

Yes you are. your open stone of 39' 4" = 39+4/12 = 39.3333333333333 1000* 39.33333333333333/63.08333333333333 = 623.51 rounded up to 624 which is your contribution or points for open stone -- Thus, you are compared to Men's Pro Records

Isn't everyone's (Masters, Women, all Am's) rankings based on the Pro's scores? Not that it matters in my case!
