COMING SOON!!!!

Been wanting to jump on this train but I have been just too busy to get in here and type it up. Thought by putting this up it would help keep me from procrastinating any longer.

Generally time myself at about 120 seconds between sets. Before the 580x3 I might have taken another 30 seconds. The goal was to get at least 1, any more was just for fun.

The following 5 sets were assistant work. Just getting some volume in.

I'm following Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program that you can find here.

I've followed several different programs over the years. Had a lot of luck with Joe Kenn's Tier training system. Just thought I would try something different and see what happens.

Took today off to visit the chiro.

Been having some nerve issues (at least I think) with the left side of my abdomen above my belt line. Started out like a burning-itchy feeling, like when you are getting a tattoo. Slowly spread towards my belly button and transitioned from itching sensation to numb.
Got a good adjustment in the T region. Icing tonight. We'll see.

Diagnosed with a herniated around L-4 or L-5 which has caused numbness on left side of abdomen and down the left quad but no pain thankfully. After talking with Gene Flynn I decided to get into the gym yesterday and do some work.

2/17/10
trap bar deads
empty x 10
135 x 8
225 x 6
315 x 4 (didn't hurt, but didn't feel good either)

pull ups 5 x 5
reverse hypers with lite band tension 4 x 20
stretched lower back on gluteham raise machine

went home to ice

Felt pretty good today until I had to spend some time sitting at my desk. Sitting seems to aggravate the condition

Chris, stick to more BB stuff till this thing dissapates, like pull downs, bench rows, pull ups, bench, low row, seated press, etc...  Avoid standing weight bearing exercises.  I know this is not what you want to do, but at least you will be getting in and doing something!
