Someone, somewhere on this board at one time or another put up a link on buying steel blocks by the pound (online website).
Does anyone know what that link is, if so; please post it.

I've never seen that type of sale, but you could figure out weight per inch of any given size and order that from a steel retailer like
http://www.discountsteel.com/ FWIW Unless you buy in bulk, it will cost you more than buying an implement
