Gaylord highland games 2018. Masters, A/B, Women, Masters Women. Respond to jason.cherry27@gmail.com with class to be contested and shirt size. EMAIL ONLY PLEASE. helps with record keeping. Cost is 25-30 dollars TBD...shirt, lunch, water, Gatorade provided. Awards 1-3 place finish per class.

If there is enough interest may throw men's lightweight class at Gaylord this year. 40 or older must be 200 or less. 39 and younger must be 190 or less. Please contact me at jason.cherry27@gmail.com

Roster 15.0 for the 2018 Gaylord Highland Games: **Note: Some of you have moved class as I have reviewed results from 2017 and depending on your finishes your class will be adjusted. This has been done to keep the classes competitive. Heights are determined by reviewing nasga database for any scores this season and those of last season. This sometimes has brought some trouble for me and other athletes as an opening height was my/their PR for WOB for example. The average is what the average is for the class contested.
I was told back when I started in 2009, 1) this is a game not practice, 2) we are not here so everyone gets a score, 3) lift more and throw farther. This system has worked well for the Gaylord Games and the athletes (for the most part) have stepped up to the occasion and smashed PRs over the years.

Novel approach, I say I wish more AD's had the same vision...long time judge at different AD's games(Ad calls the shots, I just call the throws) and had an athlete ask the AD for a 6 foot WOB opening height..WTF a midget could dunk 6 feet...most games around here 8 or 9 is minimum but like 10
