   Im looking to get started in pursuing the athletic competitions.  Is anyone else here from the northeast???? Im in Mass and its not easy finding an organization that would take amateurs or 1st time competitors.  Could anyone here point me in the right direction?? thanks.

	Welcome, Where in Mass are you? There are a bunch of us in Mass, RI, CT, NH, VT, NY and ME. A little early for throwing as most of us are still in off season lifting mode. Check out Ryan's training DVDs on the main page, the training and throwing sections of this forum and youtube is huge as you can usually find a good thrower to emulate with a similar body style as you. Also off the main page is a getting started section that covers the events, rules and other guidelines. You can look at the database section of this site to see potential games and classes are going to run by state and who the AD is. We have lost quite a few good games here in the NE so there will be a lot of competition to get into the remaining ones. Good luck. Al
