I am running the highland games events concurrent with the 56 lb pentathlon i.e., by adding the 56 lb weight Put, 56 lb T&F Supper heavy weight (hammer) and the Irish Sling as chalange events, and creating the North American 56 lb Pentathlon Championships as a North American complement to the like events contested in Europe and the World Championships in Ireland. See the Irish thrower club web site: http://homepage.eircom.net/~irishthrowersclub/Results.html

The Amateurs throw on Sunday, 4 September and we can run the same events if the majority would like, we would use the 42 for the Masters & <190 classes and the 28 and for the Women.

I can forward you a copy of the rules and technique for each event with your paid registration.

I will post a registration form for the Wisconsin Games ASAP.

RJ
