I know ^^^^ that seems a little rudimentary, but after faaaaarrrr too many years in the games it has suddenly occurred to me that my Open Stone will go further if my standing stone is further anyway.

You had a fantastic breakdown for the open stone, so I'm requesting a similar one for a standing put as I can never figure out how far to bend down, how to start the throw, etc, so I fake the hell out of it. If you've already got something or a link to another throws coach that breaks it down the way you like, awesome.

If not, and you have the time and inclination, I'd love to see your thoughts on it and I doubt I'm alone there.

Thanks!

- Sean

I am working on a throws break down... for all of the throws later this year.  I will put them together in a book with drills same as my training book.

Awesome!   I, for one, would be willing to buy chapter by chapter.

Not sure if this is your style, but I just recently learned what I'm supposed to be feeling when doing the standing stone drills. I knew I was suppose to do them. I knew what they looked like. And I sorta mimick the motion. But it was until someone explained what I should be striving for as a feel that I had a clue as to why we do them and how to gauge the drill. If you work that in, that would be HUGE for us self abusers, uh, self guided learners.
