OK. I've been putting it off for years now and I think it's time to make some actual progress!

I did not come from a track and field background so I've had to learn a lot of the fundamentals of throwing on my own and with outside help. For the most part I'm making great progress. Shot Put however has been my weakest point since I started throwing. I've done a half rotational for 5 years now and have been putting it just over 40'. Not even close to where it should be compared to my other numbers.

Does anyone have any suggestions for instructional videos/youtube videos or clinics that would help me out?

ANNNNNND I've been training with a shot for the most part. Should I switch to using a stone more often?

Cheers from Canada

Here's probably the best breakdown available:

And y'know, Josh, you COULD have asked this stuff while you lived in the province and could have practiced with me as you lived a whopping 30 minutes away. I'm a lousy thrower but a decent coach ;)
