02JUN  SAT

Preacher Curls           50:10  60:8  40:6  60:8  50:15
Seated Alt DB Curls   10:10  15:8  20:6
Standing Cable Curl    45:10  55:8  65:6
Close Grip Chins        1:4      1:4
Cable Pull Downs       30:10  40:8  50:6  30:10
Cable Push Downs     35:10  45:8  55:6  35:10
Triceps DB Ext          10:10  (Dips x4)    15:8   (Dips x4)

These were light and done without more rest then to change the weight.  I have not done work like this so figured I would start light and work my way up.  Turning away from hubris, swallow my ego and start light to get consistent gains and move the chains.

Throw practice tomorrow.  Supposed to be in the 40's and raining.  Yeah.

Son of Ja,

Why the impetus on arm work?  Aren't you getting enough with all the pushing/pulling stuff?

Gonna check the vids tonight...looking forward to it.

wfh, I think waiting an extra bit at the bottom before you initiate your pull could help. I think of it as not pulling until its at zero, weightless and I'm sitting on it.

lh, its not a sprint. winds are slow, to fast to fastest. try some two winds vs three. i think your two winds my be longer because its hard to maintain and build on that second wind speed you've established. so it short, slow the second wind down a bit to hit maximum velocity in the third wind, cause thats when it counts.

lwfd, once the weight is behind you and you initiate your first cast, think palms up and about pushing the weight around, replace as far back in the trig as possible, sprint to the front and now matter how low you think you're getting for your final drive and rip, its never low enough.

i wish i had more to offer, but thats how i see it.
jammin on the one.

28JUN  THU

Pullups at BW        2:6  1:10  1:8  1:6
Dead Lift at 80%   345:4x2
High Pulls at 80%  155:4x2
Shoulder Press      105:8  120:4  120:4  115:4  95:8

Rows                     170:10  185:8  195:6
Shrugs                   190:10  195:9  205:7

Shoulder Press is set for 140 and its percentages so I am going to lower them.  Sometimes it is a step or two back before you can go forward.

Here is some video of Dead Lift setup and execution as a few months ago I got 480 now 420's is beating me down.  Thoughts?

Deadlift looks good man.  Really.  If you can, pull harder; I know that sounds dumb, but from where I am sitting you were CLEARLY in command of that weight.  Grip it and rip it...no sense grinding out a rep when you are totally owning the weight.

Looks good my friend.  Keep going!
