Lots of folks around, but you will find the central Vermont contingent maybe
too much of a hike to train with. However we train most saturdays unless
their is a competition, and anyone is welcome. Send me a PM if you are
interested and I will get you directions.

Hope to see you on the field.

Are you anywhere near Everett? Check out Total Performance Sports http://www.totalperformancesports.com/ They are the most heavy duty place I know of in the Boston area.

Let me clarify my statement. TPS is the most heavy duty commercial gym that I know of in the Boston area. There are some individuals in the area who train at home who are pretty bad ass.

I lift at the Original Mike's Gym in Cambridge and I just begun to throw at
some public fields in Belmont, I am new to throwing as well. I have stones,
28# weight, 56# weight, light hammer, and sheaf to throw. If you want to
get together for training or throwing send me a PM.

TPS is the best strongman/powerlifting gym around. Before doing a
powerlifting competition, I will train my last few heavy deadlift workouts at
their facility because they have an oklahoma deadlift bar. I was able to set
the Mass. State APA 275 weight class deadlift record by training on their
okie bar.
Best regards,
John

I'm headed out to Billerica Sports Complex for a tourney next Sunday the 28th, I'd happily come out on Sat if I knew I could meet up with some folks to throw with.
Lets put addresses together and do this.

It might be easier with phone numbers too that way if anything does come up no one is left hanging

Hi, Jasen:
I'll throw with you. I throw at some public fields in Belmont, Mass. The
address to the field is 140 Grove St, Belmont, MA 02478. I'll be around next
saturday, if you are interested.

I have an adjustable throwing weight (can be adjusted to 28, 42 and 56#),
16# stone, and light hammer. Send me a PM if you can get together. I
believe I met you at Rockingham in November.
Best,
John McKenney

I'll be there around 8:45 AM this saturday. Throwing later in the day at the
fields gets too busy. If you are interested, swing by. My email is
jmckenne@gmail.com

Best,
John
