First of all Im Jason Irvin. I met and started training with Myles 11 years ago.
My apologies if this is not where to post this. I'm just trying to get stronger like the rest of you guys. But scratch is rare and sometimes hard to get the groceries in. I've been training at home with stuff I built. I got no idea how much anything weighs. All I know that each day I do as much as I can THAT day. Not hung on a number. I test myself with the deadlift and my heavy stone press. I've been plodding along and pushing for 5 months (during my lunch breaks) at my home gym. I'm just now starting to see some results. Thank you Plow Mule for all your years of sage advice. Missed 14 concrete block deadlift https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xUgLbCeB2k Heavy stone for reps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kr9ufGNGabE my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBVI5VMg-s7y6n2YbgMfXug?feature=watch God bless and Happy Friday |

J Alabama. I hope you throw regularly and hang around, because after watching your youtube channel, you're my new hero.

Myles thought you guys might like this one.
After I identified my major weakness in pressing my heavy stone I was looking for a way to train the stability in my shoulders and improve core strength. I used an old semi truck front tire for some overhead walking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2u7QX0_d-yI&feature=c4-overview&list=UUBVI5VMg-s7y6n2YbgMfXug |

Training after my own heart. I do a lot of conditioning with railroad ties and logs. Always something to do on the land...

amen to that Tom. It's awesome what nature supplies in the ways of training.
Anything you can pick up and walk with only a short distance will be dad strength. Just keep picking it up and keep walking further every time. |
