Where can I get a handle for a throwing weight? I made one from the 1” bolt and iron weights. It seems to be a good thing because I can change the weight with out too much trouble. But right now I have a kids swing set plastic ring on it. It works but I would rather have a steel loop. The plastic ring is too thick, I don’t to get too used to it. I just wondered if someone knows where I can get a handle already made.

Thanks for any help you might have.

You can get a ring handle from IronMind:

<sheesh:  beat me by one minute!>

or a ring or triangle handle from Old Celt:

or a D- or ring handle from Merl Lawless:

http://www.ancientathletics.com/orderform.htm

These are listed in arbitrary order.  I personally don't consider any of these shapes to be optimal, but would probably recommend a ring over a triangle or D-handle.

I purchased a ring from Ironmind about a year ago and i love it.  I tried to buy something from a local fitness store(D shaped handle) but it was not the same.  my two cent is ironmind's ring is the way to go...
