A review of my goals, in preparation for this season, has lead to the realization that before one can take two steps, one first has to take one step; therefore, the following revision of these goals with a more realistic approach.
Primary Goal: Technique is STARTING to come along, but still a VERY LONG way to go. Secondary Goal: who knew eating to gain weight was going to be so hard? Have put on 6 lbs., and I'm sure it isn't the kind of weight I would ideally like to have. WOB: current PR -13', revised goal - 14' Open Stone: current PR - 33", revised goal - 34' Braemar: current PR - 26'4", revised goal - 27' HWFD: current PR - 29'3", revised goal - 30' LWFD: current PR - 42'7", revised goal - 43' LH: current PR - 73'7", revised goal - 74' Sheaf: current PR - 20' (achieved Oct. '11), revised goal - 21'

2012 Goals:
Braemar: 38' current 35' Open Stone: 46' current 41' HWFD: 33' current 28'6" LWFD: 70' current 60'6" HH: 85' current 78' LH: 110' current 95' Sheaf: 34' current 28'6" WOB: 15' current 13'3" Most of my currents are from last season which was my first. No form and litttle weight training involved. I am hoping the off season training and better technique can get me to these goals.

jerked 280 a few months back, shooting for 300 now by 2013 made lots of progress this off season, also making the most of my practice time has helped much. no reason to slow down, need to keep chasing the other lifts/throws goals. |

Haven't thrown since 2005 (injuries & life). My goal is to compete at any level this year and start building back up.
My account was still active though....that was cool.

My primary goal is to make it to at least one competition this year (seriously). I'm also working on getting a bodyweight power snatch for my weight-over-bar. I'm still very much below bodyweight on the lift... |
